Помощниками у него будут Клеман Жодуан (коуч Льюистона,QMJHL) ,несколько лет бывший тренером-ассистентом в Канадиенс и Крэйг Хартсбург (коуч Су-Сент-Мари ,ОХЛ), поработавший в НХЛ в Чикаго и Филадельфии.
Brent Sutter, Head Coach, General Manager, and majority owner of the WHL’s Red Deer Rebels, was named by Hockey Canada and the CHL, as the Head Coach of Canada's 2006 National Junior Team. Sutter led Canada to a gold medal at the 2005 IIHF World Junior Championship in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
With his appointment today, Sutter becomes the fourth head coach, since the inception of Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence in 1977, to coach Canada’s National Junior Team in consecutive years (Stan Butler in 2001 (bronze), 2002 (silver); Dave King in 1982 (gold), 1983 (bronze); Terry Simpson in 1985 (gold), 1986 (silver).
Hockey Canada and the CHL also announced the appointment of Sutter’s assistant coaches for Canada’s 2006 National Junior Team:
Craig Hartsburg – Head Coach of the OHL’s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds
Clement Jodoin – Head Coach of the QMJHL’s Lewiston Maineiacs
У их "младших братев"-юниоров U-18 также назначен тренерский штаб на след.сезон. Главным будет Шон Кемп, уже возглавлявший сборную на ЧМ U-18 ,завоевавшей серебро. В 2004 Кемп привел Гелф Сторм к Чемпионству в ОХЛ.

Camp, 44, was the Head Coach of Canada’s Under-18 team in April that won silver at the 2005 World Championship. A NCCP Advanced I level certified coach, Camp was an Assistant Coach for Canada’s 2004 Under-18 summer team that won a gold medal at the Under-18 Junior World Cup in Czech Republic in August.
Prior to joining the Sting in 2004, Camp was the Head Coach of the Guelph Storm (OHL), and won the OHL Championship and a berth into the Memorial Cup in 2003-04. Camp served as Guelph’s Assistant Coach from 2000-2003 and was the Head Coach of the Hawksbury Hawks (Junior A) from 1998-2000, leading them to the 1999 Canadian Junior A Championship. He was an Assistant Coach in Hull (QMJHL) from 1996-1998, and helped lead the Hull Olympiques to a Quebec League Championship and a Memorial Cup title in 1997.
"I am extremely honoured to be a part of the Under-18 program again this summer," said Camp. "The tournaments last year were a great experience, and we will strive to continue to represent Canada at the highest level at this year’s Under 18 event.”
